SENNELIER RECTIFIED TURPENTINE
Spirits, commonly called thinners, enable you to dissolve the pastels and thus make it easier to work with colors.
It is preferable to use spirits during the abbozzo or sketch phase in order for drying to take place more quickly and to respect the "thick on thin" rule.
Senneliet Rectified Turpentine:
Pure wood turpentine. Traditional thinner recommended for oil based paints.
Creates a smoother, thinner, more pleasant to use paste.
Particularly suitable for rough sketches and the general completion of works.
Reduce exposure to air, store in small containers.
Replace partially with a less volatile thinner when working with fresh paint for a long time.
